Rated 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board Newholme House, on the edge of Stirling, is the perfect getaway for all kinds of gatherings. 

Accommodation comprises hall, drawing room with working fireplace, morning room with another fireplace, satellite TV, a spacious dining room, a large family kitchen, upgraded and increased in size, a new downstairs bathroom and cloakroom with walk in power shower and a dedicated utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Overlooking a luxuriant garden, the upper floor of Newholme offers three twin rooms that can also be super king doubles, two rooms with double beds and one twin room.  There are two bathrooms upstairs, one with power shower and bath and one with bath and shower, with two toilets upstairs.

Prices: £550 to £1,200 per week (weekend lets also available)
