Stirling’s small size and great surrounding country side has a lot to offer cyclists of all levels. With a number of great cycle routes out into the surrounding countryside and many quiet and safe roads, cycling is a great way to explore the stunning countryside that this area has to offer. If you are looking for more information about cycling in Stirling and bike hire visit the Cycle Hub located at the railway station.

The landscape surrounding Stirling also offers some great hill walking opportunities. Stirling sits within a short drive or bus journey from the Ochil Hills which offer easily accessible and very enjoyable walking with some incredible views over the Forth Valley. There are also a number of walking tours exploring the city and further afield. If you are looking for something slightly less energetic, the grounds of Stirling University are open to the public and offers some lovely routes around the beautiful campus.
