Buy direct from the producers, who are always more than happy to answer any questions and share hints and tips on how to cook and serve their produce to perfection.
If you miss the farmers market you can always pop in to a local deli to buy some fantastic local products. Doune the Deli specialise in fine food and drink from around the world. But also stock a selection of local produce such and beers and jams. If you’re feeling hungry you can also grab freshly made cakes and sandwiches to take away. Another great place for food on the move is the Loving Food Truck Stirling’s (and Scotland’s) first quality street food vendor serving fresh local food and friendly banter from their vintage 1971 Citroen H Van near Stirling train station.
