Stay in the heart of Stirling

Stay in the heart of Stirling

With a city break in Stirling you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our historic Old Town boasts the finest concentration of historic buildings in Scotland. Look out for the beautifully preserved medieval and renaissance churches and mansions including the Argyll’s Lodging. Of course – there’s also the splendour of Stirling Castle and the world famous Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum. It’s certainly worth going on a Stirling Walking Tour to really appreciate the wonders of Stirling’s Old Town.

Just a short walk away is the bustling city centre where there’s no shortage in shops, bars and cafes. The Thistles Shopping centre showcases many of the biggest names in retail – the high-street and the Stirling Arcade also boast many unique independent retailers.

Night Life

Stirling has a strong student population which means the city really comes to life in the evenings. If you are staying near the city centre you will be within east walking distance of traditional pubs, bars and restaurants. You’ll also find live music, festivals and entertainment on throughout the year – check out what’s on in Stirling.

Tip tip: A great way to get around the city centre is to use the Castleview Circular – a park and ride bus that runs every 12 minutes.
